We chose an Eclipse CD headunit for its superior sound quality, its clean looks and low profile. It is mounted in the factory location, but look closely and you’ll notice that it is recessed about a half of an inch. |

The factory radio was sacrificed in order to use the faceplate as a cover for the Eclipse Radio. |

With the cover in place he scores extra points with the sound-off judges and keeps prying eyes out of his vehicle. There was also a very elaborate security system installed. |

| This was one of the first applications of JL Audio’s new 10W7 subwoofer. The boxes were built with 1.5” MDF baffles and bolted to the floor of the car with 3/8” bolts. The side panels will eventually house the MB Quart Q x-over. The front and rear speakers were all replaced with MB Quart in the factory location. Dynamat sound deadening was added as well. |

Between the subwoofers is now home to a Phoenix Gold Powercore 20 Farad Cap mounted on top of neon lit Plexiglas. Right behind it are two Phoenix Gold amplifiers also floating on neon lit Plexiglas. |

All of the panels were wrapped in a factory matching vinyl. The x-over on either side was backlit with electric blue neon as well to match the amp rack. |
