The factory doors were modified to accommodate a pair of MB Quart top of the line QSD 216 6.5” component Speakers. The factory rear speakers are located in the rear of each door firing into the seat? We did not use this location for obvious reasons. |

Instead we built a new baffle under the rear deck to accommodate a second set of MB Quart QSD216’s isolated from the modified opening that lets in the bass. A new grill was made to cover the rear speakers and bass vent. |

The factory CD Changer was retained in its original spot on the left side of the trunk. |

The criteria were to add as many amps and subwoofers as we can with minimal loss of space and retaining access to the spare tire. |

We came up with a unique enclosure design that also incorporates the two JL Audio amplifiers. All the passive cross-overs are mounted to the right. |

This design allowed us to fit three JL Audio 10W6V2 10” subwoofers firing down while maintaining a great transfer function. |

Believe it or not, the factory system comes with no dedicated tweeters so you can see how drastically the source unit was equalized to compensate. This along with their “audio pilot” sound processing always causes some problems. |
