A couple of our creative iPod installs

This little box is revolutionary. With its compact size, great software and surprisingly good sound quality, the iPod has found its way into many cars. Our choice is to hook up the audio without the horrible FM transmitter. Many factory radios now have the capability to control and charge the iPod as well, with the use of a third party adapter. If possible, using an aftermarket iPod ready radio still gives the best results.

2006 Honda Civic This is one of the best iPod set-ups we have seen. With the help of a Japanese double din dash piece we installed the Alpine W200. It gives you fast and full control of your iPod. A PAC interface makes sure the steering wheel controls remain working.

2006 Lexus RX350 With the help of a VIAS interface we were able to integrate an iPod and XM into the factory Radio without any sacrifice. You can even control it with the steering wheel controls.

1965 Lincoln Continental This just shows that you are able to enjoy your iPod in any car old or new.

2003 Range Rover Here we used a NAV TV audio interface to get the iPod audio into the factory radio. Any controls have to be done with the iPod itself.

2004 Porsche 996 Turbo Any radio that has an AUX IN can accept the iPod. Here we used the A/V IN on the Eclipse AVN. With a Video iPod you can even watch it.

2003 BMW X5 So you want total control of your iPod in your steering wheel? Here we took an “Air Click” RF iPod remote control and integrated it into the third spoke of this BMW X5 along with the factory steering wheel controls.

2004 BMW 330i Here the cup-holder was replaced with a “Euro-tray” that has a retractable cover. A custom felt insert was made to hold the iPod. It will charge it as well as play through the BMW’s factory auxiliary input.

2004 BMW X5 This was a cool set-up. The iPod and holder was attached to a custom hinged bracket that allows everything to fold down into the cup-holder when not in use. You can still slide the original cover over it to keep the iPod out of sight.
