This famous prancing horse has always been a sign of performance design and status. Sound in Motion follows the this theme with the Audio sytem.

As with any two-seater performance car, space is always at a premium. We mounted the Amplifier vertically on the driver’s side in the front luggage compartment. No holes where cut or drilled. All the factory mounting locations where used. |

A phoenix Gold ZX 450 4 channel Amp was used. It is fan cooled and has tremendous performance.

After verifying that the signal out of the factory radio was acceptable we used it as a source.

The battery is located in the passenger foot-well, so that eliminated our favorite location for a sub enclosure. |

The original door speakers where upgraded to a set of Focal K2P power 61/2” separates. Extensive fabrication went into mounting them for the best possible performance. |

Small brackets where made to hold the new passive crossovers in the door as well. |

We designed a sub enclosure for two down-firing 8” JL Audio Sub woofers. |

The enclosure fits right behind the seat and secures in with the bolts that held in the factory 6” subwoofer box. |

In order to access the mounting bolts a small but handy storage compartment was built

Absolutely no seat movement was lost. Some storage space on top of the enclosure was even retained. |

The result was awesome sound with the top up or down. As far as the highway speed test we left that to the customer… but his verdict is… “Unbelievable”!!! |
