This famous prancing horse has always been a sign of performance design and status. Sound in Motion follows the this theme with the Audio sytem.

As with any two-seater performance car, space is always at a premium. We mounted the Amplifier vertically on the driver’s side in the front luggage compartment. No holes where cut or drilled. All the factory mounting locations where used.

A phoenix Gold ZX 450 4 channel Amp was used. It is fan cooled and has tremendous performance.

After verifying that the signal out of the factory radio was acceptable we used it as a source.

The battery is located in the passenger foot-well, so that eliminated our favorite location for a sub enclosure.

The original door speakers where upgraded to a set of Focal K2P power 61/2” separates. Extensive fabrication went into mounting them for the best possible performance.

Small brackets where made to hold the new passive crossovers in the door as well.

We designed a sub enclosure for two down-firing 8” JL Audio Sub woofers.

The enclosure fits right behind the seat and secures in with the bolts that held in the factory 6” subwoofer box.

In order to access the mounting bolts a small but handy storage compartment was built

Absolutely no seat movement was lost. Some storage space on top of the enclosure was even retained.

The result was awesome sound with the top up or down. As far as the highway speed test we left that to the customer… but his verdict is… “Unbelievable”!!!
