The original radio was use due to its good looks and flawless GPS integration. The audio signal derived from it was very acceptable for our Zapco amplifiers.

A Zapco 45Hz bass-boost knob was installed in the center console coin tray for easy access. It can also be recessed out of the way when not in use.

Dealer-installed screens in the headrests display video entertainment for the rear seat passengers.

The entire cargo area was transformed into a highlighted system install. The new side panels, sub box and amp rack were all finished in charcoal uni-suede for a prestigious look. Four JL Audio 10W6V2 subwoofers make sure we have enough bass.

A cover with a raised letter “Porsche” logo protects the Plexiglas below during everyday use.

With the cover off you can see the two Zapco reference series amplifiers and Focal K2 Power passive crossovers proudly displayed.

Green neon sidelights the Plexiglas under the crossovers and backlights the Plexiglas wit the “JaMy” logo. This is the customer’s nickname per request.

A close up shows the exhaust for the fan-forced cooling of the amp rack.

The new side panel on the passenger side highlights the factory CD changer and switches that control the neon lights as well as the LCD screens.

On the drivers side we added a Sony Playstation 2 to the dealer-installed DVD player.

A solid brushed aluminum plaque with Sound in Motion credits was made to match the brushed aluminum accents on the Porsche.

All doors were treated with Dynamat Extreme and custom baffles were made to mount the Focal K2 Power speakers. The baffles were designed to seal the speaker against the factory door panel for maximum performance.

A quick look at work in progress. Each sealed enclosure is 0.65 cu. ft. and has a 1.5” thick baffle. It is bolted to the car with four factory bolts.
