The factory radio was retained because of its great looks and very good performance. It also featured a 6-Disc in-dash changer and Sirius satellite radio. |

The small space in the center console where the power outlet was is now home to a Nokia Bluetooth phone kit controller and a bass control knob for the Phoenix Gold amp. |

The kick panels offer a much better speaker location for sound quality, so they were custom made to house a pair of MB Quart Q-series 6.5 " speakers. The factory door speakers are now used for the hands free phone. |

The customer wanted to retain as much valuable trunk space as possible, so we opted for an infinite baffle (free air) set-up in the rear deck. We have had great success with this in European cars. It consisted of two JL Audio 10" woofers and uses the trunk as an enclosure. |

Here you see the baffle board before carpeting and installation. It is built very solid and mounted to the car with several 3/8" bolts. |

The rear left storage compartment was a great location to hide the amp for a near invisible installation. The amp is a Phoenix Gold ZX450 (75Wx4) with the rear channels bridged for the subs. |
